Canned Spanish Olive Oil La Chinata

The extra virgin olive oil of the Spanish delicatessen brand La Chinata is made from the Manzanilla olive. These olives are harvested in Sierra de Gata in Spain, a northeastern region in the province of Cáceres. The olive oil has an intense yellow color, a soft sweet and fruity taste without sharp edge or bitterness and is characteristic of the south of Spain. This olive oil has a very high content of essential fatty acids.

  • Soft, fruity taste
  • Full and slightly creamy mouthfeel
  • Versatile in use. From salads to carpaccio

The extra virgin olive oil is characterized by 4 factors:

  • An intense yellow color with some traces of green;
  • A sweet and flat taste, without the spiciness and bitterness typical of the oils from the south of Spain. This results in a very pleasant taste in the mouth that makes tasting this Vírgenes a real pleasure;
  • A very dense aroma of ripe fruit;
  • A very high content of fatty acids, making these Vírgenes one of the most perfect of all obtained in the different olive growing areas of Spain.

Very suitable to use on salads with mozzarella, tomato, cucumber and oak leaf lettuce. But this oil certainly doesn't look out of place over a delicate dish such as carpaccio.
